Why do we support Soldiers' Angels? In previous years we’ve made direct contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project but this year we wanted to substantially increase our fundraising efforts for the brave men and women who serve to protect our country. That desire to raise more money led us to look closely at a lot of great charities that serve the armed forces. After much research, many interviews, and reading hundreds of reviews of the top charities, Soldiers' Angels became the clear choice. Their motto "May No Soldier Go Unloved" encapsulates the motivation behind Soldiers' Angels. The volunteers of Soldiers' Angels work tirelessly supporting our nation's veterans, wounded warriors, deployed service members and their families. To date, their volunteers have sent hundreds of thousands of care packages and millions of letters and cards to "adopted" deployed service members. They supply the wounded with over 25,000 of our First Response Backpacks directly at the Combat Support Hospitals in Iraq and Afghanistan and the major military hospital in Germany, as well as provide care and comfort to those in stateside military and VA facilities. They provide voice-controlled/adaptive laptops to over 6,000 severely-wounded service members, as well as contributing other technology that supports rehabilitation.
With the assistance of generous supporters like you, the many volunteers of Soldiers' Angels have accomplished this and much, much more on behalf of the grateful citizens of the United States of America
Why Plant flags with our Staff Wrap attached? The Staff Wraps brings positive awareness of this great charity and on the back of the Staff Wrap it encourages the recipient to learn more by visiting SoldierAngles.org and get involved by donatating or volunteering.
